Decta Limited and its Electronic Money Institution is looking to recruit the Chief Risk Officer with responsibility for oversight over the company’s operations from a risk management perspective. The position is subject to the approval by the Central Bank of Cyprus.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance and regular update of Decta’s risk register;
• DORA assessment and compliance;
• Scrutinize, and decide on various risks associated with Decta’s operations;
• Formulate internal policies and procedures, and measure the effectiveness of the said policies in mitigating the identified risks;
• Ensure that Decta has clear policy in respect of the identification, monitoring and management of risks duly notified to all interested parties or organizational units;
• Consider, to the extent possible, risk factors affecting costs, the price at which competitors offer the same services, and the cost-benefit ratio for each service, and verify that such information is utilized by the risk function in the carrying out of their duties;
• Prior to introducing new products or services, the Chief Risk Officer along with the Compliance Officer shall both be satisfied that Decta incorporated such expansion projects into its strategic development plan, located and accurately assessed the inherent risks and compliance obligations by implementing the necessary risk management procedures and resolved any legal issues associated with the launch of the new product or service;
• Monitor risks associated with counterparty exposures;
• Supervise and approve the Disaster Recovery Plan from a risk management perspective;
• Responsibility for oversight of the relevant outsourced functions.
