We’re hiring a talented Data Protection Officer. You’ll be responsible for GDPR and international privacy compliance, privacy documentation, advising teams, and regulatory monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical privacy advice across GDPR and key international privacy laws
- Draft, maintain and continuously improve privacy documentation: policies, procedures, notices and internal guidance
- Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and personal data inventories, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Draft, review and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and partner privacy terms
- Support teams with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interests Assessments (LIAs) and privacy risk assessments
- Advise on cookies and consent mechanisms
- Deliver internal GDPR training and awareness, providing clear guidance to teams and stakeholders
- Support data subject requests (e.g., access, deletion)
- Monitor privacy regulatory developments, guidance and case law, and drive ongoing compliance reviews and improvements
- Provide clear updates and reporting to management, including annual privacy/GDPR reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
- 4-6 years’ experience in legal and data protection/privacy roles
- Strong knowledge of GDPR and key international privacy frameworks
- Experience implementing GDPR and data protection measures in a business environment
- Ability to translate legal and privacy requirements into practical, business-focused solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non-legal stakeholders
- Excellent drafting and record-keeping skills, including creating and maintaining privacy policies, procedures and notices
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and driving matters end-to-end
