The company is expanding, and they need passionate and professional individuals to join their growing in-house Technology team as a Senior Systems Administrator.
Senior Systems Administrator – Responsibilities:
- Configure, develop, and maintain computer systems and equipment use across the company
- Monitor and ensure maintenance and health of computer networks
- Manage installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Coordinate IT Hardware and software purchasing, inventory, distribution, and safe storage of all IT related equipment
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, and solve hardware or software faults as per company needs
- Manage the data availability, access, backup and restore procedures related to IT systems
- Ensure up to date systems and software updates are thoroughly applied across systems and computers
- Prepare and adhere to any related IT audits, penetration exercises, disaster recovery exercises and any other IT related report needs as from time to time arise
- Testing new systems/technologies
based on company needs
- Ensure proper documentation of all IT systems, processes, procedures and policies.
- Ensure access management policy and procedures are followed religiously and proper accesses are provided based on approved requests
- Assist upkeeping Cybersecurity and information technology guidelines and standards to ensure security of data and systems
- Manage day-to-day resolution of IT Support issues
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous IT support related experience of 3 years minimum in similar role
- Strong experience in local networks, storage solutions, DNS, VPN systems, O365 suite, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, emailing systems, Antivirus and monitoring solutions and file sharing solutions
- Strong understanding of IT Principles and Technical concepts, networks and it support methodologies and tools
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively.
- Ability to prioritize with a strong attention to detail.
